Hotel Laxá was a delightful surprise during my Christmas adventure. the spacious rooms with cozy seating areas and large windows were perfect for admiring the possibility of the northern lights. the complimentary EV-charging stations were a thoughtful touch for eco-conscious travelers. The in-house restaurant Eldey offered a taste of Iceland with delicious meals made from locally sourced ingredients. the diverse menu catered to various preferences, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Exploring the surroundings of Lake Mývatn provided a chance to immerse in the natural beauty and birdlife of Iceland. the convenient amenities like free WiFi and the option to partake in outdoor activities like horse riding and hiking added to the allure of this scenic retreat. Hotel Laxá truly captured the essence of Icelandic charm and hospitality.
